Home is Where Your Slippers Are
Dear Dungarees,
Editing this week’s paper due and my editing apps are sending me mixed messages. One is telling me to add the comma the other is saying it’s not an appropriate place. I have no head space left for this nonsense. SO thankful for Grammarly and Word editing suggestions but my GAH I can’t. I have consulted my slippers. They agree. The comma goes. Maybe not a popular opinion. However…I shall not die on the comma hill today.
As Rober Frost wrote - Two commas diverged on a page, and I—
I took the one less traveled,
And that has made all the difference.
Or something like that.
Shout out to my Christmas gift from the bestie that matches my goaty friends in the barn.
