No Idea What I’m Doing

Dear Dungarees,

Operation “Grants Before Plants” was a success! My class is over. Grants for the nonprofit I work for have been submitted and therefore PLANTS HAVE BEEN PLANTED! What a weird and lovely thing to place seeds in dirt and grow food and flowers. (Theoretically) Mind-blowing. First seed in dirt planting experience. 5 stars.

Early spring on the farm is a delight. Check-in with me in a few months when the greenhouse and outdoor garden are fixed and yard work is in full swing. I may have a different answer.

When it’s too cold to keep putting seeds in tiny containers outside you bring it all into your messy entryway and keep on going. Today’s grand adventure besides the seed planting was getting the greenhouse ready. A visiting son has made the day that much brighter and many hands make light work. Thanks to visiting son, Fine Farmer, bounce, and bug the farm pug we are ready for the season. I mean…I think we’re ready. I don’t actually know what I’m doing.
